Nach meinem Diplom an der Folkwang Universität in Essen war ich einige Jahre als Illustrator und Designer tätig, u.a. für Ritzenhoff, Stern, Handelsblatt, Pharma, Ford, Wirtschaftswoche, BAP, Jack Wolfskin (Jacky Comics für Kinder).
Seit 2006 widme ich mich ganz der freien Malerei in einem eigenständig von mir entwickelten Stil aus Postimpressionismus und Pop Art, überwiegend fröhlich bunt, gegenständlich, manchmal verfremdet bis in den Grenzbereich der Abstraktion.
